Painted Portraits by Robert Crum Photography

Painting from Cherished Photographs

Robert Crum uses your cherished photo to create a beautiful hand painted canvas. What a gift!

Unlike the majority of photograph to painting companies out there, Rob actually hand paints your canvas - it is not done by a computer program! Do you want a painting or a photograph on canvas? There really is a difference!

Robert Crum Photography can take any photo you have and create a hand done painting for that place of honor on your wall. Not with a computer program but with an actual brush.

Creative custom photographs and portraits are transformed into heirloom paintings.

Michael came into Robert Crum's Studio the other day with this old wedding photo of his mother and father. Their anniversary was coming soon and he was wondering what he could do to create a special gift using the photo.

Rob suggested that he create a painting to freshen it up and paint over the area where the turkey used to be. Here is the final painting.

Casual Business Portrait

When we did this shoot in King Corona Cigar Bar, Chris had a couple goals in mind. He wanted a casual business portrait that could also become a portrait painting that was casual and showed personality. I think we accomplished this!

Robert Crum works from his photography studio in Tampa or on location in the Bay area.

Such a Beautiful Painted Portrait

Wow.. She is a Breathtaking Beauty!!!!

Being a family portrait photographer in Tampa is so much fun. I think at time I have the best job in the world capturing moments of fun, and excitement, and beauty.

The Painted Portrait you see to the left is Sofphia.

Sofphia's Painted Portrait started as a regular portrait, and was then hand painted to create this wonderful heirloom.

Thanks so much for the opportunity to create this Painted Portrait of your wonderful daughter.. It was a joy and a privilege to put it together for you.

Being a Tampa Portrait Photographer is a wonderful wonderful profession!

Commissioned for Heirloom PAINTED PORTRAIT - NOW COMPLETE!

After visiting Gabrielle's home in February, I was commissioned to create a hand painted "Heirloom Portrait". The internet and PC's make it difficult to appreciate the brush strokes and the painterly effect, but Gabrielle was overwhelmed with the finished product. The emotion and the young boy's spirit was transformed from the photo and elevated to a piece of art, now proudly displayed in the client's home as a center of attention. Here it is now, the final results!
